training requirements.
Students should not be
required to take a lengthy
program when a shorter
program will serve their
needs.
Program lengths should be
content-based, not designed
to assure that the program
qualifies for Title IV
Funding. Many vocational
programs are lengthy
because financial aid is only
available if a program is of a
certain minimum length.
Unnecessarily long programs
never serve the best interests
of a student and typically
result in a sizeable student
loan which will be difficult
for entry level workers to
repay.
